The Buena High School Music program dates back to the fall of
1961 when Buena first opened its doors for students. Since that time, the band program has been led by
Seven Band Directors with
enrollment as high as 180 musicians.
Students participating in the Buena Music Department have
opportunities to perform in many high caliber ensembles including Chamber Winds, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band, numerous
brass and woodwind chamber ensembles, String Orchestra, Pit Orchestra, Concert Choir, Belle Voce-an
acapella women's ensemble, Winter Marching Percussion Ensemble, Concert Percussion Ensemble,
Winter Guard, and the illustrious Buena High School Marching Band.
